It's an international art festival in the beautiful country Echigo-Tsumari. It opens once every 3years.
Only 2 hours from Tokyo, but you will surprise how different to Tokyo. Rice fields are everywhere here.

Our journey starts at the Haneda Airport on 25. Enjoy Tokyo, Kamakura then move to Echigo Yuzawa by bullet train. then Drive a car to Matsudai where Nohbutai and lot's of arts and rice fields are. It's a huge area and so many things to see especially beautiful nature. Our ryokans(hotels) are a hot spring ryokan in Matsudai, House of Light(光の館） by James Turrell( http://www.echigo-tsumari.jp/eng/artwork/house_of_light ), Minshuku(small private inn)in Echigo Yuzawa.
